This ultra chocolaty brownie with a hit of Nutella and roasted hazelnuts is a must bake!

They are outrageously thick, fudgy and slightley gooey in the centre... they are just the perfect brownie and so simple to make!

You will need:

280g dark chocolate
170g unsalted butter
245g caster sugar
150g nutella
30g roasted hazelnuts chopped
3 large eggs plus 1 egg yolk
1tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup plain flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder

Directions:

Preheat oven to 180 Degrees. Grease and line a rectangular slice tin or 8 x 8 inch square cake tin with baking paper.

Melt the chocolate and butter together in microwave or stove top. Remove from heat let it cool slightly and then whisk in the Nutella. Leave to cool.

In a bowl with an electric mixer beat eggs and sugar on medium to high speed until light and thick, about 3 minutes. Beat in the vanilla extract. Stir in the cooled chocolate mixture and roasted hazelnuts.

Fold in the flour and cocoa powder with a spatula gently until combined.

Pour the batter into prepared tin. Bake for around 30 minutes until slightly cracked on the top. Leave to cool completely and cut as desired. Serve warm or cold... this brownie is delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream drizzled with Nutella!

Happy Baking xx
